Meet the Pastor
Pastor Brad Jensen and his wife Amy:
From Pastor Brad......
It was during my flight training in northern
New Mexico that God really got a hold on my life. I was driving around the small town of when I stumbled upon the radio station CSN (Calvary Satellite Network). I was listening to Pastor Chuck Smith preach; and I just remember finishing
listening to the sermon and thinking that there was something special about his simplistic style of teaching the Word verse by verse. It was something I had never experienced, but I knew I was missing.
After that time in the car, I found Calvary Chapel of Farmington, with Pastor Andy Fine.
The first Sunday morning I walked into the church, I sensed the Holy Spirit. The people were loving and engaged in worship. Pastor Andy taught the Word verse by verse, and it was wonderful. Throughout my flight training, I was able to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, and be a part of a solid ministry.
From Farmington New Mexico, I began my journey as a commercial airline pilot. Moving all around the U.S., I settled in beautiful Arizona Busy in my career as a pilot, I would always make an effort to attend church and stay plugged in. I attended Calvary Chapel Tri-City, and then Calvary Chapel Ahwatukee.
At Calvary Ahwatukee, I learned what a true servant of God was by seeing Pastor Doug Warwick in action.
From Ahwatukee, my wife and I moved to Queen Creek. We began attending Mountain View Family Church, led by Pastor Rick Morris. After attending for a year, my wife and I saw a need in the youth ministry.
For two years, I led the youth ministry and flew; however, my heart was longing for the ministry. After two years of volunteering, I left aviation, and dove into the ministry full time.
I led the youth ministry for four years, and served in various other ministries. January 2006 is when I felt called by
God to plant a church in Coolidge, Arizona. In 2007, Amy and I stepped out in faith and began the ministry in Coolidge.
Many Blessings!
Pastor Brad
